Glokers Bootcamp in Gdansk: youth, sustainability and impact

From 20 to 25 January 2025, Gdansk was the beating heart of Glokers, the European project that aims to make young people protagonists of the ecological transition. For us at Project School, this experience represented much more than a simple event: it was the confirmation of our commitment to building concrete paths of social impact and to being a point of reference for those who want to transform their ideas into real change.

A training experience between practice and inspiration The Gdansk bootcamp was a total immersion in “practical training”, through the exchange of ideas, best practices and concrete planning of pilot actions. Young people from different European countries came together to learn, discuss and, above all, act. Through workshops, interactive laboratories and moments of discussion, ideas were transformed into tangible action plans for sustainability. The children had the opportunity to interface with experts such as Alice Spada and Nadia Paleari of Greencome, delving into crucial issues related to communication, social media and youth activism in the fight against climate change. Additionally, they were able to participate in a workshop with ZeroBan Org on sustainable fashion, exploring innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of the textile sector. The real strength of the meeting was the active participation: the young people were not simple spectators, but protagonists of a change from below, proposing innovative and replicable solutions in their own territories (think global, act local).

The energy of a growing community Every time we participate in initiatives like this, we return with the confirmation that the most powerful energy is that of sharing. Seeing young people passionately commit to a more sustainable future demonstrates that change is possible, if supported by adequate tools and a network that believes in their potential. Project School is not just a partner of Glokers: we are facilitators of a path that puts people and social impact at the centre. Our goal is to offer more and more young people access to training opportunities of this type, so that they can translate their enthusiasm into real projects.

What’s next? Gdansk was just the beginning. The ideas born during the bootcamp are already turning into concrete projects, with young people ready to make a difference in their territories. We at Project School are at their side to support them and continue to build opportunities for growth and impact together. If you want to stay updated on upcoming initiatives and find out how to become part of this growing community, continue to follow us. Change begins with those who choose to act!

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
